This system combines visual and non-visual sensing technologies to monitor and analyze human behavior and events in real time through local data processing while protecting personal privacy. It is suitable for a variety of applications such as smart homes and smart nursing homes.
Manual attendance, temperature checks, and CCTV review in caring centres are manpower-intensive. Existing solutions struggle with privacy and security. Our system automates these tasks while preserving privacy.
Hong Kong Applied Science and Technology Research Institute (ASTRI) was founded by the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region in 2000 with the mission of enhancing Hong Kong’s competitiveness through applied research.
