Problem addressed

The conventional multisensory systems are usually large in size and there is no accurate temporal and spatial synchronisation among different sensors. These pose huge challenges to the accuracy of 3D restructuring algorithm

Innovation
  • The actual time is obtained by pulse per second signal generated by GPS, which is divided into 10 parts by the FPGA to trigger camera exposure, where the laser radar and the IMU are synchronized.
  • Adopt CNC-processed cell and developed a calibration algorithm of the extrinsic parameters of the sensors, achieving stability of extrinsic parameters of multisensors.
Key impact
  • The device can function for 24 hours continuously
Application
  • Wide range of usage: high accuracy map creation, AR/VR, autonomous driving, robotics
  • High efficiency
  • High expandability
