A novel method of designing ultra-wideband phased arrays for wireless communications, sensing and imaging is proposed. The developed prototype has compact size, light weight, low cost, and ultra-wideband performance with wide-angle beam scanning.
In future wireless networks, such as 6G communications and integrated sensing and communication (ISAC) systems, the theory and implementation of ultra-wideband, wide-angle scanning phased array antennas is still under development.
