Problem addressed

The recording length of a single-shot temporal imaging systems has been limited to <300 ps. The time-bandwidth product (TBWP) has not exceeded 450 fs. To capture comprehensive portraits of an ultrafast dynamic processes and many other transient phenomena in nonlinear optical dynamics, a temporal imaging system with a TBWP much greater than 1000 is necessary

Key impact
  • PARTI can achieve high temporal resolution (sub-ps), long record length(tens of ns) at low cost.
Application
  • Ultrafast flowcytometry, high speed laser scanning for surface inspection, for example, scanning of glass for portable and smart device
  • With this technology, laser scanning application like flowcytometry and surface inspection can take records at multiple points at a single shot scanning which can speed up the whole process and improve the throughput

Patent

  • US Patent No. 10,429,246
