  • The novel fluorescent aldehyde detection probes were designed in a modular approach with three different tunability towards color, reaction rate and molecular selectivity of aldehyde detection
  • Rapid and accurate fluorescence based detection kits used for quantifying aldehydes generate a strongly fluorescent signal upon reacting with aldehydes, offering the benefits of measuring the low concentration of aldehydes with high sensitivity and specificity
  • The novel fluorescent aldehyde detection probes allows structural modification for enhancing fluorescent signals and fine-tuning of functional motif for increasing selectivity of different aldehydes, including formaldehyde
