Overview

HKUST develops a superhydrophobic surface with superior mechanical and chemical robustness through large scalable laser scanning and spray coating fabrication methods. The material is composed of stainless-steel protective frames and a Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) - fluoroacrylic copolymer (FC) superhydrophobic layer.
